Full Time Outside Advertising Sales Representative

Job Duties:

• Solicit and service business accounts by phone, email, text, social media, etc.
• Prepare effective proposals and sales campaigns as needed in a prompt professional manner
• Sell print and digital display advertising into the Exchange’s 4 editions (Eastern Washington, North Idaho, Wenatchee/ Moses Lake, and Lewiston/ Clarkston)
• Collect ad copy/ information from customer or harvest from internet. Properly write up inserts for graphic designers, email proofs and make necessary corrections/ changes
• Attend professional meetings and stop by select business offices periodically with flyers & special promotions
• Maintain customer accounts, update details such as email/ address, new contact person, etc.
• Maintain accurate call records, and schedules
• Track weekly sales and continue to maintain and increase volume while working efficiently
• General office duties as assigned as well as helping with special projects and trade shows

Experience/Skills:

Excellent customer service, typing proficiency, communication skills, knowledge of basic advertising and digital strategies. Additional training will be provided. Must be passionate, positive, creative and have initiative!

Full Time Customer Service/ Inside Sales Position

We are seeking a skilled customer service/sales professional to join our team. The duties and responsibilities vary greatly each day of the week. This position would be a perfect fit for someone who is a quick learner, adaptable and curious.

Job Duties:

• Customer service duties (answering phones, responding to emails, booking ads, resolving customer issues, & taking payments).
• Solicit & service commercial classified picture & line accounts by telephone, email, text etc. (realtors, services, etc.).
• Generate leads from new sources, & contact for advertising.
• Prepare professional proposals & sales campaigns promptly.
• Create advertising plans for seasonal customers
• Sell advertising into all 4 editions of The Exchange & digitally on our website.
• Help the front with incoming calls & walk-in office customers.
• Track weekly sales and continue to maintain and increase revenue.

Experience/Skills:

• College degree in business or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of sales process and dynamics.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment & be able to multi-task.

Pay/Benefits

Hourly pay plus commission. Medical available after 3 months full time. Dental available (employee pay). Simple IRA plan after 1 year.

Route Carriers

The Exchange is currently accepting applications for delivery drivers to place the Exchange in local businesses on Thursday mornings.

Applicants must have their own vehicle to deliver along established routes. The Exchange is distributed on Thursday mornings, with pay depending on the route. Routes range from smaller in town routes which are under 30 miles and take 3-4 hours to complete, and the larger routes can be up to 300 miles taking 9 hours to complete.

Applicants must be able to lift and transport bundles that weigh no more than 25lbs.

Exchange Publishing, LLC is a locally owned company. We publish 4 editions of our weekly paper, "the Exchange", maintain active digital products, produce various Show Guides, Buy, Sell, Build Real Estate a monthly magazine and publish a quarterly equine magazine, Horse Previews Magazine.
